100B selection issue

After further testing this is the pattern. I hope somebody can offer some insight A1,2,3,4 work A5,6,7,8,9,10 do not *B1-10 Work* C1,2,3,4 work 5,6,7,8,9,10 do not *D1,2,3,4,5,6,7,9,10 work* D8 does not E1,2,3,4 work E5,6,7,8,9,10 do not *F1-10 all work* G1,2,3,4 work G5,6,7,8,9,10 do not *H1-10 all work* J1,2,3,4 work j5,6,7,8,9,10 do not *K1-10 work* Regards Rick

Seeburg B selection issue.

I just serviced a pinbank for this model b. However selections A,C,E,G,J numbers 5,7,9 are not working. The individual pin coils were clean with no visual evidence of burn. The strain relief on the jones plug was missing and when I removed the cover found one loose wire. I solder it back on thinking this was my problem but still these selections do not pull pins. Mech does scan if pin is moved manually. I bypassed the selection receiver mating the jones plugs but same issue. Regards Rick

Seeburg SAMI Amplifier

I’m currently working on this amp from an S100 There is a semiconductor that is burned. Parts list shows it as a silicon stabistor. I know it’s a special kind of diode but where can I get it and does it have a certain value? The parts list shows it as CR5107 Regards Rick

Hi Dean, You may find the issue is still the #3 switch, because even though it works ok, the transfer time between the contacts may be too long. For the search unit removal. Remove the power, then the comb edge connector from the search unit. Now remove the 3 large bolts in each corner of the search unit. Leave the last one in and steady it as you pull forwards. It will come off easily. Now you will see the stopping switch assembly. Only one of the switches on here is the stopping switch. Remove the circlip and pull forward. It will come off. Check the switches on the bench and check their connectivity on the wiper circuit on the rear. Clean the wiper tracks and clean the wiper contacts (these are still in the jukebox). Check dry joints where the wires from the stop switch is attached to the wiper track. When done set the carousel so that U0 (I think it's U0 but will clarify later) is at the top. Now slide the stopping switch assembly back on and line up the words 200 to the 3 o'clock position where there is a bit of a ledge in the mounting bracket. Also make sure you wind the record playing annunciator round to show U0 also). Re fit search unit and bolt up. Don't mess with anything on that unit as it has nothing to do with your problem. Connect the comb edge connector and select a record. Try all selections like A1,B2,C3,D4 so you have covered all letters and numbers. If the search unit spins forever on a certain letter or number then it's a poor connection on that comb contact. Seeburg A problems

Initial first look at a friends Seeburg M100A : Fairly loud buzzzing noise as soon as power is applied. Mechanism is stuck , wont move, even by turning the hub with power off. With power on the hub turns, but wont trip or do anything. I believe the buzzing is coming thru the speaker. Clutch problems?

Facebook jukebox

I'm trying to join the facebook jukebox market place and I keep getting turned down. On the "application" I wrote that I repair jukeboxes and would like to join to look for parts. A week or so later I get an email saying my application was rejected or something like that. What the heck? Do you need the secret password and handshake? Tony
