W2900 loading and unloading without playing.

Am looking at a WurliTzer 2900 that was not used for about a year. When I make a selection, it loads and immediately unloads at several intervals before reaching the raised selector pin. Then it continues to load and unload without being able to press down and cancel the pin. At no time the record will play out. Grateful for some guidance to start => will save me time to troubleshoot this from scratch. Thank you SHANKAR SINGH

AMI Amplifier?

Hello all, I recently rebuilt my AMI G-80 amplifier. I replaced all the capacitors and Ive noticed that I am getting a little humming from my speaker and a little squelchy noise from time to time when my records play. Does anyone have any thoughts? Thanks as always Jamie

NSM prestige 2 EAROM programing

NSM Prestige II EAROM ER-1400 I've tried my best to follow the manual but can't manage to program this thing. If possible, all I (might) really need is to set it for 80 records and free play. I go through the process but it doesn't seem to work. I managed to mess up the first one, I think I programmed the "secret" code and locked myself out. Luckily I bought 3 so I'm on number 2. Is there a way to clear them without a programmer or whatever? Do I have to start at the beginning and set a value for each command in order for the free play to work. With the original earom it was scanning but not counting as it scanned. I have two control units and if I put the good earom in, it will work perfectly. (luckily they are in a socket) I do very little work on NSMs, all I've ever had is mech problems but fixed those. Tony

Thanks to everyone who helped me debug my mailproblem and answered my question about amp rebuilds.I'm trying this from my yahoo account. I switched to theTelekom account years ago because yahoo wasn't playingnice with mailing lists. Hopefully that's changed. To sum up - I need to get the amp and selection receiverrebuilt on my Seeburg M100-A. I'm in the Seattle area.Looking for recommendations. Seeburg KD motor direction

Seeburg KD has been gone thru, boards rebuilt, mech removed, cleaned, lubed, all switches cleaned and checked with meter. When I make a selection, the motor will not start until I manually turn the coupling a few revolutions. Then it selects and plays just fine. "O" contacts are good and I installed a new motor cap with the same results. But here's the kicker - if I turn the motor in the "wrong" direction, it will start rotating that direction and play normally, even with the reversing switch flipped the other direction. While scanning, I can flip the reversing switch but it will not change direction. It will do this in either direction. Bizarre... The only way it changes direction is when it bangs into the hard stop and the motor temporarily stalls. I will try another motor tonight, just wondering if anyone has seen this before.

Rockola CD Fireball Mechanism Question

Hello, I know it is rather difficult to find anyone with first hand knowledge of the Rockola Fireball CD model B - X, but, I am hoping. The CD selection mechanism is like the Soundleisure one, where 100 CDs stand side by side about 3mm apart and the lifting arm lifts them vertically adn transports the CD to the middle where the CD Pro player is located. The Cd is played vertically. Is anyone familiar with setting in the menu system that allows a slight adjustment to the location of pickup and placement of the CD's . I know I have seen, that in the menu system somewhere, there was a strange setup number in the menu. The display showed two rows of numbers separated by spaces. I remember that if, when at this location of the menu, if I hit certain numbers, the mechanism would creep left or right ever so slightly, like a micro adjustment. Is that how one would adjust the mechanism? IF, adn I probably did, I moved the mechanism slightly out of adjustment, would a factory reset set it back? An, oh by the way, the issue is that occasionally now, it does not pickup or set back the CD properly. Typing these issues is always difficult for me. (You cannot see my hands moving when I am talking - lol) Thanks in advance to all in this group!Ron
