Selection not working after changing fluorescent tube.

I have a Rockola 444. I changed a fluorescent tube and it it lit up for a second and burned out. I should have done it with the machine turned off, but I didn’t. Since then, when I push the selection buttons, they stay depressed and nothing happens. I’ve checked the fuses and replaced the 2 ballasts. What else should I do to get it working again? The record wheel turns fine when I use the manual scan. Sent from my iPhone

Wurlitzer 2410S remote cancel button?

Hi, all, I have a Wurlitzer 2410S that has become slightly unreliable clamping the record. I made a small adjustment to the lift arm height that might have fixed it. But the machine is in a position where the cancel button is hard to reach, so in case it happens again, I was thinking a remote cancel button would be a good idea. I was assuming that it'd be possible to wire something like a doorbell button somewhere. I was surprised to see adding a remote cancel button wasn't covered in the manual I have, not even mention of an available remote to add to it. And from reading the schematics, it looks like it might take a 3-wire, SPDT switch, not just a normally open "doorbell" switch to make this happen. Is that right? Wurlitzer 2310S Amplifier

Hi all, I've been asked if I know of anyone who could rebuild or repair the amplifier in a Wurlitzer 2310S. He's located int the Tri-cities area (Richland, WA) on the Washington/Oregon border. I advised him to look for a shop that could rebuild it in his area and the nearest place he could find was in L.A. and Denver area. He indicates the sound quality is poor and that the caps and tubes are probably in need of replacement. I advised that the caps are 65-plus years old and could probably stand to be replaced. Any suggestions as to who might be a good contact for him? Thanks, Dean

Seeburg C Low Volume

Amp rebuilt . good tubes, etc. Volume still too low. With ohmeter I am reading @ 3.5 Megohms between the center conductor and shield ground on the PU input cable that plugs into the amp. Is this normal? I would think It should read totally open. Could this resistance be bogging down my volume? Not sure of cartridge status. thanks for any help .

Customer bought a machine that's missing the amp. Need a HFMA2 Seeburg amp. Any list members have one ? Preferably a known good one no sizzling transformers. Thanks Rick

Are the 6P3S's a good substitute for a 6L6**? I read that they are rated lower output than some 6L6's, but who plays their JB at full volume anyway? Or would the plate voltage have to be lower? Tony
