The ground for both the credit light and latch solenoid is switched by the credit wheel. The hot side for the latch solenoid is routed through the credit relay timing relay normally closed contact Y. They sent it to me with solenoid, counter, removed and associated wiring disconnected. Using the schematic from the manual I have a new solenoid installed but deleting the counter and solenoid. When I raise a tab on the credit wheel my select lights come on but I have no power to the latch solenoid. I have the ES connected to a WSR on the bench. Am I missing something by deleting the counter?
