Are all the control boards on these interchangeable?
I have an old box that long ago I upgraded from the old style laser to
the newer Pro Player and up.
The player acts exactly like it it bad. Spinning, stopping, spinning
backwards eventually returning the cd to the carousel. I thought for
sure it was the player, but that tests good in my test box at the shop.
Any ideas what may be wrong. I was so sure it was the player that I
didn't troubleshoot it any further. Dumb move, I know. It's just that
I've never run into one that had a problem with the cd player that
wasn't the player itself. I don't even know if the control board(s) are
interchangeable or not all the same or who fixes them.
