So just curious. With all the expertise on this group nobody has ever replaced TT Bushings and care to offer any suggestions on performing the operation correctly?
Regards Rick
Well it's a fairly straightforward job and I figured someone with 25 years experience would be able to figure it out... You'll have to remove the screws holding the stripper plate and slide it back somewhat for clearance when you remove the turntable. Depending on the harness that goes up thru it, you might have to pull some slack. There's two screws holding the turntable, be careful and don't drop the clips on the back side. Most times you can gently pry off the turntable but I made a little gear puller type bar using the holes in the turntable to make it easier. Good luck, Jim On Sunday, January 4, 2026 at 07:06:46 PM EST, Jukebox Repairman via Jukebox-list jukebox-list@lists.netlojix.com wrote:

Jim, 25 years doesn’t make you an expert in all areas. I know how to remove it. I was asking for any tips. The alloys in both the turntable and the mounting shaft have bonded to each other after all these years. I would be interested to see a pic of your puller design so that I might copy it. I would think that would be the correct way versus prying between the back of the TT and the casting which I viewed a hacker way on a YouTube video. After watching that I thought I’d ask here.
Regards Rick
