This amp had been recapped awhile back and working properly. Owner said he went to play, powered on and a very loud hum then blew the fuse. He replaced with same value and same thing happened.
Should I be looking for a shorted tube, open resistor?

Possibly shorted 5U4. Open resistor won't cause this.
