And unfortunately as far as I can tell the archive.org hasn’t archived the emails as they were stored in a manner it had no access to. My personal archive goes back to January, 2006. Does anyone have an earlier archive? I can't seem to find the searchable archives from the list. The link at the bottom of postings doesn't work. It could be operator error, but I like to think it's not. Maybe my phone settings? Anyone else have this problem? Thanks, Jim

Rock-Ola CD8C error message question.

Hello all. I have a Rockola Bubbler CD8C and when it is turned on, it give a ERROR message in the display. it says DIAGNOSTICS MODE CD Comm. Failure. Where do I start? Does anyone think it is possible that the board inside the CD PRO Player went bad? Hoping for some experienced folks to point me in the right direction. Thanks,Ron B

This amp will play for about 2-3 minutes then blows the 2 amp fuse. Tubes all test good. I’m confused.

ROCKOLA MODEL 496

Hi All, I have Rockola Model 496 with the System 3 Control Unit 55130-A with an intermittent problem. After power up, the machine will generally play a single selection correctly as per request. Generally, after playing the initial selection, it will not accept further selections. After power off, and several minutes wait time, it will repeat the same process. On one occasion, the machine attempted to play all selections in the carousel, after pushing several numbers on the keypad. STD-4 Trip Problem

Mechanism trips continually as soon as a record is placed on the turntable. I read a short to ground across the trip switch on the mechanism continually. Disconnected the 6-pin plug on the amplifier and short still exists. Looks like the short is somewhere in the mechanism. Any ideas?

Seeburg STD 4 Trip Relay

Does anyone recall how many ohms resistance the trip relay coil should read? It is the little red "cube" type relay. Installed in the dcc4 control center. Im reading about 700 Ohms. Jim

Seeburg AY100, record is in play and when you make any additional selection it causes the mech to trip to scan ?? I’ve never encountered this before. Any ideas?
