ARRL CCE Course Registration

ARRL Certification and Continuing Education Course Registration Registration for the ARRL Radio Frequency Interference (EC-006) Antenna Design and Construction (EC-009) and Technician Class for Ham Radio Licensing (EC-010) courses remains open through Sunday, March 28. Classes begin Tuesday April 6. Students taking Radio Frequency Interference (EC-006) will learn how to identify and take steps to cure various kinds of interference. Antenna Design and Construction (EC-009) covers basic antenna theory and practical construction techniques. With the assistance of a mentor, students in the Technician Licensing course will learn everything they need to learn to pass the FCC Technician license class test. Tuesday Night Dinner

As we did last week, Dennis and I will be eating at Sizzler's Restaurant tomorrow evening. I've had a couple of requests to make it later, so we will try it tomorrow evening at 7:00 PM. Besides having a good dinner, it gives us a chance to talk about where we would like to see SBARC going in the future. Tuesday Night Dinner

Hi everyone, Dennis (WB6OBB) and I will be having dinner tomorrow evening at the Sizzler's Restaurant on Hollister out in Goleta tomorrow evening at 6:00 pm. Seeing as we need to get some SBARC activities going, this would be a great way to get together and see what we can get started. With all of us pitching in together, we can find out what you want from SBARC and find ways of accomplishing those things. The dinner menus run from about $7.50 to ??? and they have a senior menu ($7.50 - $11.00 or so including salad bar and drink) for those of us over 55. The menu includes chicken, fish, steaks, etc. If you would like to join us, let us know so we get a suitably sized table. Marvin, KE6HTS
