Field Day Activities Locally

Just an FYI, the K6TZ Red Cross station will be open tomorrow as usual, and there is also a ham group from out of town that is setting up on East Camino Cielo for Field Day on Saturday. https://www.independent.com/events/post-apocalyptic-ham-radio-club-returns-… Blending the applicable real-world disaster preparedness aspects of ham radio with the excitement and whimsy of popular fiction franchises like Fallout and Mad Max helps demystify the tech, and offers an inclusive introduction to the hobby. The Wasteland Communication Corporation, K6WCC, will be set up on East Camino Cielo, about 3 miles east of the intersection with Gibraltar Road.
