Happy Holidays to all. I have a DS 100 that continuously scans. It will pick up selected records but won't stop scanning after the last record plays. The subtract solenoid does not move when the mech scans to the right. I checked the subtract switch on the back of the mechanism it has continuity even with the blades separated. The subtract solenoid in the selection receiver doesn't seem to be stuck. Is there something else that I should be looking at?
Thank you,
Doug

Does the Subtract Solenoid attempt to fire when the carriage rolls over the Subtract Switch? The Stepup/down assembly may be gummed up. With the jukebox unplugged do BOTH solenoids move into their respective coils when pushed, and do they release as sson as any push on them is removed? I suspect you need to take that assembly apart and flush out the gunk...

Hi John, I disassembled it, cleaned them both up, reinstalled and everything is working good now. Thanks for your help. Much appreciated.

Hi Doug,
Great news!
I suspect someone used something like WD40 in the past. That, and other spray lubes, lead to all sorts of trouble later on...
