Need help! I am working on a 1448 and during test running found that selecting 61 through 80 plays 101 through 120. Can anyone shed some light on this? It’s being picked up on Friday and I have to have it sorted out by then. Many thanks, Mauro

Hi Mauro,
This is a problem with the microswitches on the rotating Program Panel (Title Rack). A broken wire or switch that isn't switching correctly as the program panel title strip drum rotates...
See pages 10 on regarding the Program Panel Operation in the 1448-Instruction Manual & Parts List...

John, Thanks for the guidance and to be honest I haven’t checked the manual as I just panicked when this happened. I thought of the micro switches but shouldn’t that switch affect the entire side displayed on the drum? 61 to 80 is the second half of the drum displayed only. Any thoughts? I’m going to dig out my manual shortly. Mauro

John, You were 100% correct. I dug out my manual and sure enough one of the micro switches controlled the 61 to 80 selection group. The switch was good and just need some adjusting. It’s selecting like a champ now! Much appreciated, 🙏 Mauro
