Hi all, My cousin has a Seeburg DS100. He asked for my help identifying a broken part on the mechanism. He said it's a contact switch with a roller on the bottom right hand side of the mech. Apparently the switch is activated when it rolls up the ramp on the right hand side. The roller on that switch has broken off. I'm assuming that switch is replaceable but I have no idea what it is called. I do not have that particular part manual to look it up. I would really appreciate it if anyone is able to provide me with the name or part number of that switch.
Thank you, Bruce
Hi, Bruce:
Sounds like you are describing a microswitch with a roller actuator. First, notice how it is installed, and how the action of the lever is set. Then remove the switch. Take the brand name and numbers off the side of it and google them. You will likely find a replacement that way. When you install the new one, make sure the actuator travel is the same as it was before.
Many of the switches have screw terminals for the wiring. If yours has solder connections, you will need to be able to deal with that.
Good luck!
Mike

Thanks for the info Mike.
I believe I found the switch on Jukebox Revival
https://www.jukebox-revival.eu/en/products/jukebox-parts-4922/seeburg-parts-...
But I can't seem to find a US source.
Any ideas?
Thanks, Bruce

This is not a microswitch, as I was thinking. I'm not a Seeburg guy. I see John has provided you with a part number. Not sure if that will help in your search.

I have a few good used ones, but Canada Post is down right now so you are better off ordering within the USA if that is where you are located.

Hey John,
So far no luck finding one in the USA. I have sent your info to my cousin. Hopefully, he will contact you!
Bruce
Are you referring to the switch that counts the pulses for position in the tormat? I have replacements for the plastic actuator as well as the actual contact switch. Contact me directly if I can help.
