Gentlemen,
I have been on this list for a long long time, have 4 jukeboxes AMI-C, Wurlitzer 2700, and a Seeburg HF100R and an M100A.
I have just picked up a 3W1 to hopefully hook up to my HF100R. Looking it over it looks like it only needs the glass dome and coin glass. Ordered from Victory Glass.
I do not know much about Wall Boxes yet there is some information in my HF100R Manual. Some Questions for the Group.
Looking for Gasket for the dome glass I see a set for sale for the 3WA 200 selection are they the same?
I am a little confused on a Stepper? Or is that a Wurlitzer thing?
Does the 3W1 just plug in to the selection receiver?
I will get into the manual as soon as I have a little more time.
Thanks for any help or advice you can share.

You can use clear silicone seal if needed. Not sure if the 3WA is the same size glass but it looks close.

The HF100R has a stepper built in, but it's likely to need servicing. sometimes the ratchet gears bind.
Does the 3W1 just plug in to the selection receiver?
Yes. There's a 3-pin Jones socket on the selection receiver for the wall boxes. Mating plug is Cinch P-303-CCT. There's a 2050 tube on the selection receiver used only for wall boxes. It's often missing from jukeboxes that were run without wallboxes. Also a Fustat fuse just used for wallboxes that may be missing. Three wires - Ground, 24VAC, signal pulse.
Victory Glass will have the 2050 tube , 3 pin wallbox plug and fusestat for it.
The seal can usually be made easily with weatherstrip from Home Depot. They sell different widths and thickness. Get the one in the roll that is peel and stick.

I am still working on this wall box, and I have a question. The new glass I have from Victory Glass is too wide at the back so it will not slip in easily. Has about a 1/4 inch gap at the front. Will it bend into shape or just break if I force it in? Not wanting to look for another glass.
Thanks

Hi John,
If it's a proper glass one it will break. If it's a modern plexi glass version it should be ok.
I recently broke a glass trying to squeeze it in a 3wa. Don't risk it. If it's a replacement glass it sounds like it's faulty.

Actually my last 3 orders from Victory glass have either not fit due to improper manufacturing or wrong parts sent. I would not just assume it is correct.

Hi John, I don't know about the Wurlitzer or AMI but you should be able to plug the 3W1 directly into the M100A for sure and the HF100R maybe, Someone with one of those may chime in. I run a 3W1 on my M100A and it works well. I'm running a 3WA-200 wallbox on an LPC but it has a universal remote unit installed allowing me to use that wallbox. Good luck,
Dean

Stop by your local Harley-Davidson dealership late on a Saturday afternoon. Bring a 12-pack of cold beer. Ask them who does their chrome.
