I have a customer who wants to bring it here but has no shipping bolts and I don't know the size offhand. (He hasn't even found the holes yet.)
Can anyone help with that?

From the manual:
*Install the shipping bolts through the mechanism base on each side and completely tighten. *
*Note: The mechanism base must be in contact with the wooden platform and the springs must be fully compressed. *
Not a word about what the bolt IS though - at least in my PDF copy.
As for the bolt size? Not certain, but I suspect a 3 to 4 inch 3/8 inch bolt with a large flat washer would work. Home Depot to the rescue?
These bolts are inexpensive, just have him/her stick a pencil in the hole and see if it binds - or use various drill bits by hand to figure out the ID of the threaded hole and use that to find a suitable bolt. Obviously the testing with the drill bits is by hand! Don't want to damage the threads!!

This is old now but the customer found bolts but he got them 1/2" too long and ran into the end of the threads. His fix was to loosen the mech, stuff cardboard under the base, and tighten it. It wasn't tight but I suppose tight enough since there was no apparent shipping damage. I bought the proper length bolts for it's trip home laying down in the back of an SUV. (It came to me like that) I forget what make/model SUV.
