25 years in the jukebox repair biz and of all the motor capacitors I've changed out it seems the 100R models have been the most common to fail. Has anyone else experienced or found this to be true as well? Not that it really matters more curiosity than anything
Regards, Rick
I didn't want to make the owner of this message list upset so I thought I'd ask you privately. Do any of the Facebook forums approve messages faster? From what I see, they only approve them once a week. Will they no longer need to be approved after I become established and spend more time and have more posts?

Well, you asked publicly, and I'm by no means upset. The answer is that the Facebook algorithm is to do one thing, keep its users "engaged" as long as possible. Facebook is a time sink that serves advertisements. You aren't its customer, you're the product.
Delaying the display of useful, sought information keeps users engaged longer while they wait for it online or check back later looking for it.

Jay, I'm glad you replied. Now I'm not so embarrassed anymore of my "private" post. LOLSo far you are dead on about facebook, I just had to pull myself away from those short video's. I had joined years ago and some people got me to friend me or something. I think I'm up to 5 friends, less than one a year. ;) That's what I think of Facebook... not much, not much at all.

I never noticed any certain caps fail more than others, but then again, I have hardly ever had to replace them. Maybe 5? times out of a heck of a lot of Seeburgs. I know someone who when preparing a seeburg selectomatic for sale, he always replaces the motor cap before selling it.
