John, thanks.
I made the adjustment where the plunger meets the arm. It’s not pushing it fully vertical now. It drops back down after disc meets the player. As always I appreciate your expertise and help.
Now if I can get upper arch bubble tubes to go. I checked fuses all good
Regards Rick
I don't know if they are the same, but on a Wurlitzer OMT a heater resistor had burnt out, and it's not simple to replace it. I ended up using heat sink glue to attach two resistors to the tube. The glue wasn't as great as it could have been so I added 2 cable ties around it tightened gently when the cable ties were very warm. Works great, customer is happy.

I just saw that Victory Glass now has the small resistors to properly fit the OMT's. Again, not sure if it's the same as the NY NY.

Hi Tony. I don’t think that’s my issue. All four quit at the same time hence my assuming fuse but all fuses test good. I’m still on the hunt. I’m looking forward to getting it outta here and recoup some space.
BTW the title boards sticking / sluggish movement was old dried grease on the sliders. Removed all of that and subbed with silicone spray. They work perfect now

Make sure the bubble tubes are bottomed out in the heaters and check if the heaters are getting warm. May be a bad connection somewhere if they are cold...

Hi Rick,
No, if the animation and none of the bubble tubes are running then you have a power failure. Blown fuse or failure in wiring or connections.
Check at the motor for the 24VAC needed. You have the schematics I assume?

Well with the aid of the schematic I discovered why the tube heaters and the animation were not working. The connector was dangling in the air. Plugged it in and all works now.
Only downside is now the clamp arm is back to sticking upright after disc loading. When it unloads from the player it goes up high enough to clear the gripper. Nice and smooth motion. I guess I have to remove the mech and get a look underneath

I did clean some grease that was on the plunger from the top side but haven’t looked underneath yet. I don’t see why it only does it during loading.
Unloading it works as it should.
I’ll check to see what’s going on below.
