Carefully check the wiring on the back of the pin bank! I had the exact same issue a few years ago and it turned out to be a loose or broken connection in the wiring. It makes sense (as if I remember the schematic properly) the letters and numbers are in groups just as described. Every other letter is daisy chained together. Mauro

Dirty number button contacts! The number buttons have two contacts - so, for example, the A5 doesn't work but the B5 (routed through the second 5 contact) does. Check the number switches of keyboard - The second bank of wipers on the keyboard numbers. I think you have a problem with wiper that connects #4 to #5. There should be continuity on two rows of the number switches. You only have one that is complete, the other row has an issue.
