I’ve been working on a friends Wurlitzer model 1100 and got most of the issues sorted out but sometimes the little arm that searches for the raised pin gets caught up and can’t move or reset the pin. This causes the turntable to stay in the raised position and spin. I have been through the manual a few times and it doesn’t really address this well, I know it’s a pretty common issue for those that know these machines well, so thought I’d just ask instead of fumbling around even more. Also the end of record trip switch doesn’t work but by looking at the schematic that might just be a fuse. I won’t be back at his place until Saturday so I have some time to figure it out. I hope all my US friends have a great 4th of July!! Cheers, Mauro (Canada)

When the star wheel is locked, the dog bone pin should engage the beveled edge of the tooth. This backs up the selector arm slightly to relieve pressure between the cancel arm and the selector pin. Before making any adjustments, be sure the cancel arm is lubricated and free to move forward and backward on the selector shaft. If you verify the star wheel is not backing up, there are slotted holes in the pinbank so you can rotate it slightly to adjust the interference. This adjustment is in the manual.
