I recently completed cap replacement on the above mentioned amp. Bass response is poor and no change noticeable when changing the bass pot. The only thing I did different was on the .5 cap I used same value but a higher voltage.
I can’t let it go sounding like this
Thoughts?

Check the cathode bypass capacitor on the output stage, C19. Original is 20uF, 25v. Nearest standard value is 22uF which will be fine.
Also, check the two capacitors near the bass control, it’s easy to mix up the connections if you remove more than one cap at a time. I’ve also had a resistor on that control go bad and affect all bass settings.

Thank you both. Jay I should have been more precise. All caps including lytics were replaced.
Regarding the caps near the base control there is only the .5uf There are three on the treble control maybe the ones you meant. I’m retired and can take my time when swapping out caps and never more than one at a time with no distractions 😀
I did one of these years ago and think I had same issue. Can’t find my notes but for some reason I thought I replaced the choke?? Can’t remember that far back. I’m going to double check my work tomorrow
