Other parts to check via Ron was secure clamping of the record. Clamp arm spring and center pin entering TT with no resistance when clamping record. Motor coupler and oiling motor with his favorite ND 20 wt oil thru all of the drive train. It didn’t have a motor support plug but added one. I would at least check the bearing for no flat spots and screw condition even if u have no play In TT. Kent
