So, I have one bulb out on my Wurlitzer 2410S, a F25T12/CW/30. I now notice that T12 bulbs have been phased out, and are getting expensive to obtain.
Since these bulbs are hidden from direct view, I was wondering if anyone here has an LED upgrade strategy that they've found satisfactory? For me, it woult have to have enough diffusion that the light is even along the length of the tube's replacement, no discernable hotspots or polka-dots.
Thanks.

I'm pretty sure I have a box or two of them in the warehouse. Not sure what the current price is, but I would be more worried about the shipping costs over the bulbs themselves....

I can't tell you exactly what the best solution is but I can share with you my findings.
In the UK, the T8 and T12 tubes were outlawed in Sept 2023. They are no longer able to be sold. So I wanted a solution for my 7 jukeboxes.
After research these were my options.
1. Get some original spares before they stopped selling them.
2. Replace the 'regular sized ones' with direct led replacement ones. Almost plug and play. Obviously only of use for standard sizes not oddball ones like most jukeboxes have.
2. Replace the 'regular sized ones' and modify the wiring to remove the old ballasts etc..
3. Buy some regular sized ones and take apart, and re size to suit the required length in the jukebox.
4. Experiment with led strip light tape around the existing old tube. I tried this and the results were really good. I was surprised. There was no spotting, the lights diffused nicely, not like the strips you see in shop drink fridges. Obviously need the correct power supply for the tube. Cheap solution and looks fine from the outside. Don't get the cheapo ones that change colours though, get warm or cold white ones. The changing colours ones look tacky and are annoying in there.
Conclusion. In the end I chose option 1, spent a day scouring the internet for the cheapest suppliers of existing tubes, worked out how many I would need to see me through, and ordered them.
If you purchase and replace with led tubes bear in mind that some have a 270 degree visibility so would not suit all jukeboxes. The wrap around sticky strip light option doesn't give you this problem though as you can wrap as necessary and cut off the remaining tape. If you don't have the original tube fitted, you can stick or wrap the tape around an L shaped plastic corner trim from a DIY store. I can't take credit for that idea, Norman on this group suggested it to me.
I hope some of that helps. There was no option of a straight plug and play for every tube available for jukeboxes, and there are led tubes that require circuit mods (easy) and ones that don't. We are probably in that hybrid time where convertion type options are available, but won't be when it's all standardised.
Incidentally I bought a load of 24"T12 tubes off a shop fitter electrician guy and he told me the new led tubes are not even lasting a year and it was an expensive option but not all it's cracked up to be. Mainly due to cheap Chinese drivers built into them aparently..Thats what he told me..
I am in Prague at the moment and walked into the maintence yard by accident at the back of the hotel. I saw boxes and boxes of literally 1000s of used led tubes so I assume they have done a complete swap over. No one seems, or is able to sell the 2nd hand ones, so they will all get smashed. Odd, as one of the reasons for outlawing them is due to the gas they contain.

Happy New Year, everyone!
One question/caution about the LED replacements... do they cause any buzz, hum or other noise over the juke audio system? Some of the cheaper LED solutions apparently have pretty crappy power supplies, and cause a lot of radio hash that is picked up on nearby receivers, but I don't know if that kind of interference invades audio circuitry directly.
