The fuse in my 780 amp blows as the mech rises to play a record. Amp works fine out of the box. Mechanisms works as it should but the amp fuse blows. Suggestions? Thanks, Allen

It may be that the chassis is "Hot" - in other words the amp chassis or the mech chassis is connected to the line hot side.
Is your jukebox wired with a three wire power cord where the ground wire goes to the chassis?
If the amp becomes hot (wiring short to its chassis) when powered then that could pop a fuse. Test by plugging the amp into a regular outlet (on a wood or other non-conducting work bench!) and with your voltmeter see if the exposed metal of the chassis (screw head, or inside exposed metal of amp) is showing line voltage relative to the line electrical ground of the outlet with a voltmeter. Reverse the amp power plug if nothing shows the first time you test.

This ad says it's all original. Did they come this way? I've worked on 2 or 3 and they were all wood finish. ? https://www.ebay.com/itm/194907993860

Hi Tony,
I've worked on a few too and that finish is not factory. I just looked through my small Jukebox book library (Jukebox Saturday Night, Jukebox The Golden Age, Vintage Jukeboxes, and American Jukebox) and they all talked about the 780 only having a mahogany finish.

It could be worse, it could have been painted "harvest gold". THAT would burn your retina's!
I thought it might be Sound Leisure as well, until I clicked on the About page....
https://www.wurlitzer-brand.com/about
There are images and three people whose names end in Wurlitzer.
Gudrun Wurlitzer, Luise Wurlitzer, and Ludwig Wurlitzer
There is also a link to Wurlitzer pianos.
According to Whois.is the website is owned by: Cronon GmbH http://www.cronon.net and the registration date was 04/29/2022.
It's possible the machines are manufactured for this company by Sound Leisure. I do not see that it might be part of Gibson as their logo is no where to be found on this website.
According to Wikipedia Gibson still owns Deutsche Wurlitzer. It mentions jukeboxes were discontinued in 2013, but in another paragraph it seems they are still manufactured in Germany...

The mechanism on the 70 45rpm one is definitely a sound leisure mechanism It's the same variant they used in their 1015 style bubblers in the 1980s and their hideaways. They were also 70 single capacity.
Maybe they are making under licence for some people whose name is Wurlitzer.
In England the best way to sell a jukebox is to call it Wurlitzer, as it's the only make anyone knows. Everyone who visits my house and sees my jukeboxes has a grandmother who had a 200 record 45rpm 1015 in the 60s playing rock n roll in a local cafe 😀. When really it was probably a Ditcburn or Bal Ami junior.
It keeps us amused 😀.
And often they say it was the same as the Wurlitzer on happy days. At that point I know we have moved into the world of fantasy. When I tell them it wasn't a Wurlitzer they look at me like I've gone mad.....

On the "Happy Days" intro I know initially a Seeburg is shown and then it transitions to the turntable of an early AMI/Rowe 33/45 machine?

That's not an AMI. Pretty sure it's a Rock-Ola.

That one is a rock Ola Concerto I think, or GP160. It's got the large sunken deck cover and accu trac tonearm so it fits the above 2.
