I have an Americana i'm working on. if you make a selection the buttons latch but then a substantial long delay before they release and the magazine starts rotating. Wondering what is causing this? Leaking cap, cube relay? I'm not a wurlitzer guy so looking for help.
Thanks Rick
I would clean the: cube relays and re-test. I once tried to narrow down to specific relays but gave up when I found a couple were linked. I just clean all.
Selector switch board leaf switches and re-test.
Credit unit leaf switches and te-test. There is a red relay here also.
Strips of business card dipped in Craig De-Oxit works for me.

My W2910 was doing this years ago...after pressing the key combo....it started to buzz...the mech took off searching...and finally the keys released. I swear...and likely unrelated, I replaced the cap/resistor...something in the junction box....and it cleaned it up. Here we are now....and it's been doing it again for a year or so.....press keys....starts to buzz...mech starts...and finally they release....can be 10 seconds or so....Guess it would help if I lifted the dome...and found out where the buzzing is. Probably where my fault is. I don't play it much...so have not got back into it. Hopefully someone here with much more experience than me....can help us both out.
Good luck.

Hey Rich, longtime no hear. Yeah so this one doesn’t make any noise at all. Buttons latch then nothing. Then after a minute or sometimes even longer the buttons release and carousel rotates to and plays the selection. Selector contacts are clean and adjusted.
