Curious if anyone ever needs one of these. I don't recall seeing one before. Not sure if they are scarce or trash. It was in an MM6, I suppose it will work with any 1100 mech?
Tony
Hi Tony,
The common Rowe stepper that is electro mechanical is the "CGA" one. There are others dedicated to other pulse trains but generally they all start "CG" something and fit all 1100 mechanisms to the best of my knowledge.
For most you can mod them easily to suit the pulse your wallbox is sending.
Later on there were electronic/digital ones that were also swappable on the 1100 but usually pulse specific. Silent operation though..

Thanks. I looked for a model number but didn't find any. All I can say is that it looks a LOT like a Seeburg EM stepper.

If it looks like this: https://www.jukebox-revival.eu/en/products/jukebox-parts-4922/rowe-ami-parts...
It is a CGA. The became available with the MM1. I am not sure the plugs will mate with earlier keyboards and search units.

Yes, that's what it looks like. I was just curious if there is any call for them since my storage space is limited I just might pull the relays and toss it. Of course if anyone here really wants it they can have it.

Yes a CGA will work with all earlier search units back to the JAL.
You have to remove one of the brackets on the search unit if it has the older style top comb connector.
On JAL / JEL and early JBMs you have to add 2 diodes on the button bank. Later Tropicanas and onwards had a switch instead on the button bank.
But CGA is backwards compatible. I run Seeburg 3WA wallbox on my Tropicana with a CGA stepper.
