Hi, trying to recall what value bridge rectifier should be used in the power supply? I think a 20 amp is overkill. If I remember right, about a 10-15 amp one? thanks, Jim

I don't know if anybody answered this fo you? The major clue is the size of the DC fuse. I don't have a 1448 diagram but the 1438 and 1458 fuse rating is 1.6A - so a 3A rectifier would be plenty good enough (provided the 1448 is the same). Also, I know it's been said many times but it still bears repeating; when a silcon rectifier is used to replace a selenium rectifier, the fuse should either be moved to the transformer side of the rectifier or a new fuse added.
