I've always thought they were the same as the ones used on the CD100 series. If so I have several listed on ebay.

I don't remember what it was for, but I did have success GRINDING an LED down to size so I could pull the old one out and pop the new one in. It worked great!
Also, many of them use an infrared LED for the *sender*? but over the years, I've used a plain red LED, and they worked fine. This was in pinball's and maybe a juke here and there.
In my experience, it's usually the LED that goes bad.
