The player version is VAU1254/01 Is this a CDM4 or CDM12 ?

Hi Rick,
That is a CD-Pro 2 series player. Easily repaired.
Check the LED display code number that flash when the jukebox is turned on and compare them to the manual. If the LED doesn't flash a series of numbers then the CD-Player's controller may be defective.

i have a large inventory of refurbished ready to go players CDM12's, PRO1's and Pro2's which is the correct one for replacement?

Any of those three will work. Plug and play, nothing else required.
