I have to drive 2 hrs one way so I want to be able to correct in one visit.

I remember once the magnet came off the base of the Tonearm on an S100 ( they were glued on)

But owner says magnet is still in place

He says it won’t trip via the reject switch either.

The first thing I'd do is inspect the manual. For your sake, I hope you charge for travel time.
