End of 2023, Sound Leisure and Gudrun Wurlitzer found a license agreement for the name "Wurlitzer" to produce the "Wurlitzer 1015 Tribute" jukebox. https://soundleisure.com/sound-leisure-wurlitzer-tribute-1015/ Gibson doesn't own Wurlitzer any more, Wikipedia is not up to date it seems. The German Wurlitzer company, belonging for Gibson, is gone since March 2016 already. In 2018 Gibson filed for insolvency which luckily it could be prevented finally. But I think they gave up the Wurlitzer section at that time. The trademark law was then taken over by Gudrun Wurlitzer, her daughter and her son in 2020. They all belong to the German branch of the Wurlitzer family, and Gudrun Wurlitzer is co-owner of the "Herbert Wurlitzer clarinet manufacture". Kind regards - Hildegard

Wurlitzer 780 blows amp fuse

The fuse in my 780 amp blows as the mech rises to play a record. Amp works fine out of the box. Mechanisms works as it should but the amp fuse blows. Suggestions? Thanks, Allen Sent from the all new AOL app for iOS

I’m still trying to trace down the issue. Box was playing fine a month ago. Recently it blows amp fuse as record comes up. In trial and error tests I have found that it doesn’t blow with speaker unplugged. Suggestions. Thank you, Allen Sent from the all new AOL app for iOS

AMI Continental 1 stops at all records then rejects them immediately

I have a Continental 1 which was working fine and I decided it was time to replace the ac chords on the mechanism. I removed the mech, removed the turntable and the gripper motors, replaced the zip chords and put it back together. It started picking every selection and immediately rejecting them as soon the needle made contact so I figured I had to reset the transfer motor as per the service manual. I did so carefully and adjusted all 6 microswitches but the problem still persist. It also seems the gripper and record are a bit out of alignment. Before I start adjusting everything and potentially worsening the issue I thought it best to deal with the selection and rejection issue first. I have reread the manual but still have no idea what could cause this? The end of record switch is not activated. Looking to the group for some guidance here. Rockola 490 Amplifier Transistor

I’m out of my “tube amp” comfort zone here but, a very good freind asked if I could help him out. The amplifier is from a model 490 and the complaint was no sound left channel. I have been through the amp and found 2 blown fuses F3 and F4 which relate to the left channel and 1 shorted output transistor Q15. I know in 70’s Seeburg amps usually the drivers go with it and best to replace drivers and power transistors but in this case all others are fine, hoping someone who is familiar with this amplifier can tell me if there are any other components that would be taken out with this or if I’m good to replace the power transistor and fuses and go test? Also what transistor would replace Q15? Thanks for any suggestions, Mauro Sent from my iPhone

AMI H 200 Selection Issues

Hi all, Once again out of my comfort zone. I'm supposed to be retired but every now and then I get talked into something. In this case it is an AMI model H 200 select. I solved a couple of simple issues that resulted from improper transportation. Tonearm had jumped out of place preventing gripper from completing its travel down to the turntable. Records out of place preventing carousel from rotating. After cleaning most of the switch contacts selection buttons latch, pulse generator rotates, buttons release but converter doesn't move, no pins are pushed and carousel does not move. Carousel will rotate using scan button. If I manually push a pin and activate scan button a few seconds carousel will turn to that pin, stop, lay record on turntable and put it right back. Jukebox owner is 30 miles from me so I'd like to be armed with a few idea before going back. After leaving the other day it occurred to me that maybe when I reset the tonearm somehow I snagged the end of record switch into a constate of being closed. Any ideas greatly appreciated. Also I am a recent transplant to SW Florida, Fort Meyers area so all of the guys I used to refer these older electro-mechanical jukebox owners to back in Georgia aren't much help.
