Seeburgs V200 Stepper problem

Today I went (as promised) to a friends place to see if I could get his wallbox working again and spent much time with some success, the previously rebuilt TSR1 and stepper is working now but seems to pick up all numbers in a particular letter group. For example selecting L4 will play all L selections. It also trips immediately when a selection is made. It was getting late in the afternoon and I couldn’t figure it out so left it until I could get some advice. So here I am, What would cause this issue? Thank you, Mauro Sent from my iPhone

Seeburg DS160

The Seeburg DS160 amplifier makes a special hiss for about 15 seconds every time a new record starts playing. There is a hiss, even if the needle doesn't even hit the disc. If the needle is raised to the beginning of the record after the record has played for a while, the hissing will no longer be heard. In other words, it seems that the hissing somehow comes after the change in the state of the mute relay. New capacitors have been replaced in the amplifier and it works fine after the initial 15 second hiss has subsided. Where could the fault be?

Seeburg Q light color

Is the Q 160 supposed to have any color for the lights? The white diffuser is with it and some patched up different faded colors and a very faded color slip on on the top bulb. Seeburg Goldenjet credit issue.

I’m troubleshooting the above mentioned juke. Drop a quarter in, goes through rejector and triggers the quarter leaf switch, but the select light does not illuminate. If I unplug from the wall outlet, and plug back in the select light comes on and selections can be made. Does this sound like a bad cap on the timing relay?? Thanks Rick

AMI 120 vs 200 play

Seasons Greetings fellow members, I’m currently working on restoring an 1958 AMI model I120 and it occurred to me that the push buttons have all 200 selections with the last 8 letters blocked off. I’m wondering if the stepper would be same and any other differences? I have access to a 200 selections record basket and have a 200 selection title section on hand. Is that all it would take to convert it to 200 play? also I need to order new push buttons anyway, Anyone who has this information please share! Thank you, Mauro Sent from my iPhone

I've never looked at the insides of one of these, all I know is that it doesn't play. And of course "It all lights up and everything" :) Anyway, from what I could see in the poor pics of the mech, it looks fairly simple. Are they easy? Trying to decide if I want to take the job or not since I have an open spot in the shop. Tony

AY Contact Block sparking

Good evening Attached is a video link demonstrating the arching issue of the outside pin on the contact block. This arcing is causing a pop in the speakers when scanning from right to left. I think I recall Ron Rich stating these can be retipped...maybe? If so, with what? Replace the pin in the contact block or replace the entire contact block. Anyone have any experience in this? Other that the annoying clicking sound..the box is fully functional, amp, selection receiver, and pulse amp have been recently serviced. Machine is on freeplay.
