I've never looked at the insides of one of these, all I know is that it doesn't play. And of course "It all lights up and everything" :) Anyway, from what I could see in the poor pics of the mech, it looks fairly simple. Are they easy? Trying to decide if I want to take the job or not since I have an open spot in the shop. Tony

Seeburg 161

Hi all I could use some guidance… I’m working on my Seeburg 161 I purchased. It has a HFMA2 amp that was rebuilt by the previous owner . I have two issues first is…as a record begins to play there is no hum however as the AVC kicks in the hum begins and increases and is quite loud then gets drowned out by the music until the end of the song where it is very loud until the mute switch kicks in. Any thought? Second issue is the mech sometimes “jitters” or starts and stops rapidly after record play it will eventually begin to scan properly. Any guidance is appreciated… Don

Rockola CD8B power issue

Customer contacted me about his CD juke. States he hadn’t played it for awhile and when he made a selection, it loaded the disc, started to spin then machine went completely dark. I asked him to look at LED’s on power supply and he told me the only one lighted is the 24VDC I went there yesterday and checked all fuses in the supply and the amp. All good. Nothing looks burnt on the board. Does this sound like a transformer fried???

HFMA1 amplifier R48 Value

Hey there esteemed members, seems like I’m on a run with questions lately. I need to replace the 25k section of the dual value 20watt “standee” resistor in this amplifier from a Seeburg V200. My question: is each section 20watts or is it 10watts per section, for a total of 20watts? Reason I ask is that I have, on hand, 2- 5w resistors I can put in series and I’d be done but if I need a 20 watt then I have start hunting one down. Parts list/manual doesn’t help here. AMI WQ200 bench test

Hello All, Can anyone tell me if I can test an AMI WQ200 wallbox on the bench with just powering the 26vac? I have one that will select if I help turn the motor a bit but coins do not advance the wiper blades. I’ve made some adjustments and did some contact cleaning but it does the same thing. I’m wondering if I need a DC voltage or something else? Thank you for any advice, Mauro Sent from my iPhone
