It's easy to eliminate possibly dirty selection receiver connections by removing the two large Jones plugs and plugging them together. The selection pulse is very short, sometimes too short to pull a pin. The pulse length is controlled by the gaps of contacts u and v in the credit unit and how soon contact X on the timing relay opens. I like to gap u and v close as you can but be sure they open. Gap X on the timing relay so it stays closed longer as the relay operates. Finally, contact W in the credit unit activates the timing relay, so if it closes too soon, you'll also get a short pulse. Gap W so it stays open till the end of the cancel solenoid stroke, but be sure it closes. Be sure all these contacts are clean and making good electrical connection before adjusting anything. Don't just eyeball them, check with your ohmmeter. Also look for poor solder joints leading to these contacts. I really need some help with my M100C if somebody could lend me some of your expertise. My M100C gets credits and removes credits with selections made but none of the pins in my pin bank move. My fuse is good, all proper group solenoids pull down with selections made, I can manually move pins and the mechanism will scan, pull record, play, return record and continue to next manually moved pin, BUT the selector buttons won't move the individual pins. The latch solenoid works and pulls the latch bar.
