Yes, you can power it w/no other connections.
If you were using solid state diodes it would be easy to test for AC getting where it shouldn't along with the proper DC by connecting the unit to some lower voltage AC such as a wallbox transformer (approx 25vac). The lower line voltage limits the risk of damage to the new caps.
Here you can just leave the 6X4 and new cap out and try it, but there won't be any DC, obviously.

I found no shorts to ground that aren't supposed to be grounded, both with tubes & pulse amp in and out. All electrolytics are in the correct configuration.
