That is the best overall set of suggestions. Bear-in-mind Wurlitzer used a ceramic cart so an external TT with magnetic won't work w/o a preamp. A tuner, CD player is best here. Chances are the cart twisters or saddle gave out during stylus replacement. FWIW: this was the best sounding ceramic cart that wurlitzer ever used in their machines. Too bad it was only one year.

Might be stating the obvious here...but after you connect the iPod to the amp...I use and external turntable....you will need to select a record space that you have removed the record from....or the mute switch will still be on...and you won't hear anything.
Another test is to plug the jukebox turntable inputs into an external amp...phono input...or preamp and then into aux port on an external amp. Play a record. See if you have good output. 25 years is a long time to be playing fine....amp might be starting to fail.
