I forgot an important step. Program the juke to turn the pages slower. Who would have thought there is such a setting, but it's there. I turn the speed down on all of them I run across and tell the owner so they don't think something is wrong.

I had luck with heating the shaft hot enough so when putting the gear back on, it melted and gripped onto the splines. In my case, I got the gear on a little crooked but it worked, so pre plan a way to get it straight and hold it there until it cools enough. I didn't know if I was going to harm the motor but had nothing to loose. Good luck.
