Hello, I have a Seeburg KD200H which has been working for 10 years.
However, now after making a selection it now plays all records sequentially starting at the position where the mechanism rested ignoring the selection.
I have conducted the following:
- Measured the Play Control 'Sub' and 'Add' solenoids - both 12Ω, 26mH
- Replaced 12AX7
- Replaced 56k Ω resistor in TEU
- Checked TEU1 voyage -300VDC
- Checked the Tormat return path 190 Ω
- Cleaned the following:
a. Play Control contacts b. Detent switch c. Tormat readout RCA connector d. All relay contacts on the Mechanism
All did not fix the problem.
I will appreciate your help.
Thanks Rod.
Hi Rod,
Sounds like your Tormat got fully loaded with selections. Not sure how that can happen as it usually only only occurs when one does the Battery Tormat Test (see manual).
You can clear all the selections by unplugging the Tormat RCA (phono-style) plug and allow the machine to scan twice. Then plug the Tormat RCA plug back in and make a single selection to see what happens.
If the machine again tries to play every song let us know...
