Hi Mauro,
Open up the pulse converter box (under the deck cover). Remove the metal grey cover if it is still there. You will see 2 red plastic wiper gears, and behind them, 2 wiper type PCB boards. Have a look at the number of segments on those.
If one has 10 segments and the other has 20 segments (or 2 more as one has extra, can't remember which) then it's likely it will work for 200 selection. If both have 10 segments, it's 100 selection. For a 120 it will be 10 and 12.
Also, look at the pulse generator i.e the wiper assembly in the centre just beneath the buttons. If there are about 33 pips, and they all have wires soldered to the back, and all of those wires are connected to the button bank - especially beneath your blanks, then you may be ok.
If there is no button bank assembly behind your blanks then it won't work
Also check the number of pins in the large rear casting. Sometimes the lesser selection ones have missing pins. It all depends if it's an Ami factory conversion or an aftermarket one. It may have started life as a 200 selection and been downgraded.
Also, you will need the V shaped title racks for the 200 selection in order to display the additional title cards.

Seasons Greetings fellow members, I’m currently working on restoring an 1958 AMI model I120 and it occurred to me that the push buttons have all 200 selections with the last 8 letters blocked off. I’m wondering if the stepper would be same and any other differences? I have access to a 200 selections record basket and have a 200 selection title section on hand. Is that all it would take to convert it to 200 play? also I need to order new push buttons anyway, Anyone who has this information please share! Thank you, Mauro
