Good afternoon, I have recently been working on a Wurlitzer 532 amplifier and caps have been replaced and a couple of resistors that were out of tolerance. Tubes are all tested good and verified by swapping individually. The amplifier puts out good volume with defined bass and treble. The issue is that there is a slight scratchy sound in the high end of the spectrum. If I turn the treble to the lowest setting it masks it but anywhere else I can hear it if I listen closely. Before I blame it my test setup is like to ask, could the pec1 or pec2 cause this, as I have not replaced them? Let me know what you think. Thanks, Mauro
