I've got one in my Continental one. They fit and sound great. It's been in 30 or more years. I think they are technically the same as the M44C but have a different shaped plastic shroud.
I've had some M44Cs that are actually badged as Rowe-Ami instead of the Shure logo.

When Ami became Rowe Ami they used the Shure N77DA, a red and black cartridge which also fitted up inside the arm. Rock Ola used the Shure M44MR which was the same as the M44C but had the plastic milled out to also fit up between the 2 mounting posts. You can do this yourself if necessary. Prior to this
Rock Ola also used the N77DA on their earlier magnetic cartridge jukeboxes.
Interesting. I just cited the M44MR as I got one out of an AMI JAN machine years ago. I guess the operator must have sourced it from Rock-Ola. Anyway, I can confirm it works great in an AMI.
