Hi Rick,
In that case you must have lost the 40VDC to the timing relay. It comes from the control centre via fuse F3103, out on J3107 pin7 and into the pricing unit on P4200 pin 7.
Norman.

Norm. Swapped same pricing unit from working machine. Same condition buttons stay latched timing relay does not energize to release latch. I’m thinking my issue resides in the SSC Supposedly the only issue with this machine before it was dropped here was no sound.

Hi Norm, thanks for the tip. Upon further inspection the timing relay is not energizing. I will remove it from circuit and test with the meter although it doesnt appear to be burned visually

Hi Rick,
Yes that pricing unit should work OK. It sounds like a problem with the timing relay in the pricing unit not energising. First check and clean the contacts associated with the subtract solenoid and if that doesn't work, check that the timing relay coil isn't open circuit. Failing that, maybe a wiring issue in that area?
Norman.

Sent: Tuesday, 18 Jul, 23 At 20:08 Subject: [Jukebox-list] Seeburg PFEA1 Selection issue I’m currently troubleshooting an issue on this Seeburg Electra.
The machine has credit on, latch solenoid engaged. Attempt any selection, buttons latch and stay down, carriage scans but the buttons do not release.
Looking in the manual this machine came with an APU3 ( pricing unit) but this one has a UDPU4 installed.
I checked, cleaned all leaf switches on the ES but having trouble determining where the fault lies.
Is it possible that this universal pricing unit is not compatible with this machine? It doesn’t seem that it would be as the plugs match the sockets correctly
