Rick, What he has been doing is getting the jukebox to finally go on...then he uses the remote control to power in on and off. It works okay for a month or so that way and then it shuts down again. Would using a power strip instead of the remote make a difference?

I will be traveling to his house this weekend. I'll try to talk him into replacing the switch with one from you. Is it a fairly easy swap to do? How much will the switch cost with shipping to Missouri?
