[Jukebox-list] Seeburg M100A Write-in Issue

On a Seeburg Model 100A, would the absence of the 2050 tube in the Wired Selection Receiver prevent write-in to the solenoid assembly? I am not using wall boxes.

My memory was thinking that the 2050 tube was only needed if wall boxes were used. Looking at the schematic, it seems the 2050 tube is always needed on this model - and I don't have one, and my solenoid assembly does not get energized for write-ins. Everything else is working.

Am I correct or do I need to follow a different path to solve my problem?
