Hi Allen,
It's very simple.
If you remove the turntable, and look where the motor spindle is, you will see the idler wheel is on a bracket and it moves up and down depending upon the size of the record hole.
Next to that bracket is a kind of inclined bracket that pushes the idler up and down. It is held on by a circlip. Remove the circlip and remove that bracket and it will play both hole sizes at 45.
I have done it in many rock olas and it works perfectly.
Obviously your intermix needs to be complete and operating beforehand, and the red plastic triangle prong needs to operate to sense the hole size.
It's an easy fix and can be reverted back if need be.
It's useful in the UK where most 7 inches play at 45.
Regards
Nigel

I have a what i guess is the intermix platter on my princess, my issue is i have a few 7” 45’s with the small hole. How do i “disable” the feature that changes the speed to 33 1/3 when those small hole 45’s are placed on the platter? I’d rather not cut a larger hole in the 45 Thx Allen
