I have this in my living room and I'm wanting a change, so I'm doing some work on an R to replace it. I would rate it as an 8 out of 10. (a 9 if you stand back further. Ha Ha ;) What's the going rate on stuff like this? If you don't want to post, please feel free to email me directly. Oh, of course the amp is rebuilt and it sounds great. R89 Strange Behavior

so it appears i am not getting any power to the detent coil but im certain my mech control card is functional. I do not have a manual for this model but can someone shed some light on that circuit and point me in the right direction? This thing is driving me crazy. Regards, Rick

R89 Strange Behavior

I'm still working on this R89 that supposedly took a lightning hit. I believe i'm almost there but now when a selection is made you hear a click from the sprag assembly but the sprag solenoid is not activating. If i reach down and manually operate the sprag lever the mag motor starts right up as soon as i let off it stops. Also the nag motor LED on the mech controller is lit but the detent is not? I have never seen this condition before so I'm looking for answers. Regards, Rick

HF100R Mech Issue

I Have a customer with a 100R that keeps getting stuck on K9 playing over and over again. I was there yesterday for the second time and made a very slight adjustment on the contact block to insure the cancel coil was resetting the pin. Then I selected A1 to observe the pin cancel (which it did) then K9 again and the pin was cancelled. I repeated this test process 3 times and each time the mech functioned accordingly. I left thinking all good. This morning a text from him again saying mech stuck on K9. Thankfully he is only 30 minutes away but it's getting old. Any thoughts on what to do or what else to check? I think I had a similar issue years ago but I don't remember what the resolution was. Regards, Rick
