I'm so glad that you took over this important business in our ham radio community. Where did you see a post from our organization that the business is closed? If you can point me to it, if it is on our website or something, we will update it.

Scott is likely referring back to a 3/30/2024 post on this list that stated Harbach was closing. It was a cut/paste from the web site by AI6VS. I responded to that post the very next day with another cut/paste stating that Scott was taking over. Maybe Scott didn't see the full thread.
If that is the case, I'm not inclined to remove those since they were both valid (not false) at the time, and my post updated the original with similar information that Scott presented above. (I'm not sure I even know HOW to remove them, for that matter). Also, Scott should have responded to the thread, but he didn't, so his post is all by itself. It actually got moderated since he is not subscribed to the list, but I let it go through. In hind site, I probably should not have OK'd it since it was not threaded, the original post was corrected, and it was 16 months ago; it may just add confusion.

Ok, thanks for the context, Ken. As long as there is nothing on the sbarc.org site, I won’t worry.

I'm just guessing. Scott will have to let us know. I'm not sure he'll see these posts since he is not subscribed (although seems like he found them anyway if my hunch above is correct, although it took him over a year to find them). The only way to find out for sure may be to email him directly.
I agree with Ken. I don’t think you can remove a post since they were already delivered to list members. This thread should be enough to let people know he is still in business. Some list operators used to archive their list posts/threads on mail-archive.net http://mail-archive.net/ but I don’t know if that is a thing anymore. It was handy because it was searchable and new people could catch up on threads created before their time.

Not that I’m a moderator but I agree with Ken. The info was correct at the time. Anyone that is looking for Harbach stuff today will still see an active website and general public folks stating they are still in business.
