Volunteers needed for Fiesta Parade and SB Triathlon

The Fiesta Parade is right around the corner (August 4th) and I am looking for Hams to support the Parade. You will get free Tri Tip lunch with the rest of the Parade participants. Please get back to me ASAP as this event always fills up. I am also in need of many more Ham Operators for the Santa Barbara Triathlon which is on August 25th. WARNING ! The Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986 of the State of California determines that lead and cadmium (used as raw materials in some of the components in this product) are considered carcinogens and reproductive toxicants. Please read the instruction manual of this product carefully before use. (7) Please dispose of or recycle our products properly in accord with your local regulation(s). Obituary K6HOZ

From Brian Richardson, N7COF. George W. Richardson, K6HOZ, former President of SBARC passed away yesterday at his home in Las Vegas. George was the owner of HEMEC, Harbor Marine Electronics store in Santa Barbara and amongst the pioneers who reformed SBARC in 1975.
