Does anybody have any ideas for either using or disposing of old cell phones? I have both some analog and digital phones that were good in their time but that are now too big to be chic. Is there any ham use for them or should they be simply recycled?

The Shelter Services for Women (now the Domestic Violence Solutions for Santa Barbara County) can probably use "old" cell phones. I've donated cell phones to them in the past nand they have a source for reconditioning them, The phones are issued to women in the program so they can call for help should they need it in their transition from domestic violence to a more normal life. The Solutions phone number is 963-4458
