Guest speakers are from the Santa Barbara South County Amateur Radio Emergency Service group. You've probably already learned a lot about how to prepare for a disaster and we'll discuss that, including emergency kits. But we'll go beyond the usual: Survival psychology, lessons learned from Katrina and Rita, communications in a disaster, and what ham radio operators can do after a disaster.
