I just received this, and am passing it along. I was not aware we will have a Times reporter there, but this might give others ideas about how we can promote our hobby!

As you probably know, there will be a foot t-hunt at Griffith Park (9:30 AM start) this Sunday. See http://members.aol.com/joemoell/travtownmap.html for details. Marvin Johnston, KE6HTS, is in charge.

A reporter (Steve Tice) from the Los Angeles Times has already participated in one Saturday night hunt. Mr. Tice will be back for more at the Griffith Park hunt. The reporter is working on a feature article for the Times. Come on out and show your support. Who knows, you might get your picture in the paper!
